Los Altos Politico endeavors to find, digest and present only the essential information about the Los Altos Community Center Master Plan. So far our data sources are two documents on the city of Los Altos home page.The executive summary of the project is 83 pages. Also there is a a single page large layout site map graphic. As of Dec. 24, the publisher has prepared 4 web pages on this site based on a careful reading of these sources.
PUBLIC PROCESS: An over view of the public process shaping the development of the concept, layout, and traffic circulation through a number of iterations.
PROJECT CONCEPT: A description of the approved project concept as of Dec. 24 pointing out some discrepancies in the public information
PROJECT COSTS: A description of the project costs and schedule of the 4 phases, with some analysis of the project structure and timing, and a guesstimate of the possible tax bite.
EDITORIAL: “January Brochure, Offending No One.” An editorial including a list of the projects good points in the publisher’s opinion, but also a list of popular suggestions for the site which were not incorporated in the concept.
