April 14 or 21, the Los Altos Town Crier is hosting  training sessions for “serious” city council candidates. Topics to be covered: Steps, Your Committee, Funding, Your Effort, Filing, Endorsements, Issues Analysis, Your Backgrounder, Ethics. Speakers will include current and former mayors and city staff. There are two dates: April 14 and 21 — 9am t0 11am. Location: Town Crier Conference Room. It is required that you RSVP to Paulnyberg@aol.com.

Run for Los Altos City Council! Join a Commission! Attend this meeting on Sunday afternoon 3pm to 5 pm at the library and learn what’s involved in an election. Or just learn about the volunteer “job” vacancies on several of the Los Altos Commissions and Committee.
