City Manager Chris Jordon will present the background and status of the Hillview Community Center Project, the largest construction project ever to be undertaken by the City of Los Altos. If you missed the Tuesday, March 12, 2019, City Council meeting, this presentation will get you up to speed.
The detailed architectural plans are about ready to be sent out to bid! Groundbreaking is on track for June 2019. Move-in is still expected in December 2020.
Come and learn more. Let’s not let minor snafus stop the forward progress. Stay informed and speak up for completion of the project. It will be a beautiful gathering place and what our community has deserved for so long. Some of our city council members seem to want to shelve this plan, making for the 9th or 10th attempt at a rebuild. Don’t let that happen. Speak up and support the project. Tell them you want the project and to please stop trying to derail it!
